Safety Coordination

SI.ME.TE is specialised in the ambit of safety and offers specific services for coordinationat the planning and execution phasesof the project. The company carries out every activity with a view to controlling and reducing workplace risks.

SI.ME.TE draws up the DVS, the risk assessment document introduced into Italian law by Legislative Decree no. 626/1994. This tool analyses and sets out the guidelines to ensure the prevention measures for workplace health and safety. The Group also draws up the DUVRI, a single interference risk assessment document indispensable for injury prevention at the execution stage.

The Certified Safety Professional (CSP) is responsible for drawing up the documents necessary for on-site risk prevention.

Chief activities:

  • Drawing up of the Safety and Coordination Plan (SCP)
  • Preparation of the file, adapted to the characteristics of the project, containing information useful for worker risk prevention and protection

 

The on-site Certified Safety Coordinator is responsible for controlling safety at the execution stage and throughout the realisation of the project.

Chief activities:

  • Inspection and control of the application of provisions contained in the Safety and Coordination Plan (SCP)
  • Control of the fitness for purpose of the Operational Safety Plan (OSP), a plan complementary to the SCP
  • Adjustment of theSCPand project file according to progress made
  • Reporting of any failures to comply with theSCP
  • Suspension of activities in the event of imminent danger
